Britain will not walk away from Afghanistan (06 November 09)
During a speech at the Royal College of Defence Studies on 6 November, Prime Minister Gordon Brown said the main terrorist threat facing the UK still emanates from Afghanistan and Pakistan.
He said Britain “cannot, must not and will not walk away” from the country and the work being done to train local troops and police.
