The British Embassy in Guatemala City has responsibility for political relations and provides consular assistance in Honduras.

British diplomats meet with representatives from the Honduras government several times a year to sustain a political dialogue. The British Embassy also invites a cross-section of leading Hondurans to the Queen's Birthday Party, hosted in alternate years in Tegucigalpa.

The Embassy runs ad-hoc regional projects on climate security and human rights.
